Twenty20 Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 12, 2026

Twenty20 ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use Twenty20, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

By using Twenty20, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

• We do not collect any personal information.

• We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or any form of registration.

• We do not collect your name, location, contacts, or device identifiers.

• We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party trackers.

• There is no server. Twenty20 operates entirely on your device.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

• Your app settings (focus duration, break duration, sound, vibration, theme, phrase style, reduce motion).

• Your statistics (breaks taken, streaks, focus time, and weekly history).

• Whether you have completed onboarding.

• Whether you have granted notification, overlay, exact alarm, and battery optimization permissions.

• All information listed above is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

3. How We Use Information

• To display your timer, break screen, and overlay correctly.

• To remember your settings between app launches.

• To track your breaks and streaks in the Stats screen.

• To determine when to trigger a break reminder.

• No information is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the App on your device.

4. Data Sharing

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

• We do not share any information with third parties.

• We have no servers and no backend, so there is nothing to share.

5. Permissions

• Notification Permission — used to display the timer countdown and break alerts outside the app.

• Overlay Permission (Display over other apps) — used to show the floating break card on top of other apps.

• Exact Alarm Permission — used to ensure break reminders fire precisely even when your device is asleep.

• Vibration Permission — used to trigger a gentle vibration when a break begins.

• Foreground Service Permission — used to keep the timer running reliably while the App is in the background.

• Battery Optimization Exemption (optional) — recommended for best reliability on devices that aggressively restrict background apps.

• All permissions are used only for the features described above. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored locally on your device using Android's standard app storage.

• No data is stored on external servers, cloud services, or third-party platforms.

• Because all data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

• Uninstalling the App permanently removes all stored data.

7. Account Deletion

• Twenty20 does not have accounts, so there is no account to delete.

• To remove all data associated with the App, simply uninstall it.

• Uninstalling removes settings, statistics, and any other locally stored information.

8. Children's Privacy

• Twenty20 is intended for a general audience and is not directed toward children under 13.

• We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

• Because no data is collected, no special handling is required.

9. Changes to This Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

• Updates will be posted within the App and reflected by a new "Effective Date".

• Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
