MuteMate Terms Of Use

By using MuteMate (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to the following Terms of Use.

1. Use of the App

• MuteMate automatically silences your device based on time, location, or combined automation rules created by the user.

• You are responsible for using the App in a lawful and responsible manner.

• You must not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the App.

2. Account and Login

• The App uses Google Sign-In for authentication.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.

• We do not store or have access to your Google password.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• MuteMate provides one free Time Rule as part of its basic functionality.

• Advanced features (multiple rules, time-based rules, location rules, and combined automation) require a subscription.

• Subscriptions are handled through Google Play.

• Payments, billing, renewals, and refunds are managed entirely by Google Play according to their policies.

• Subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing period even if auto-renew is disabled.

4. Local Data

• Automation rules, schedules, and location data are stored locally on your device.

• We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, app deletion, or reinstalling the App.

• Certain account-related information may be stored securely via Firebase to support authentication and subscriptions.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

• The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

• We do not guarantee that location detection, scheduling, or automation will always function without errors due to device or operating system limitations.

6. Limitation of Liability

• MuteMate is a background automation tool that depends on Android system services.

• We are not responsible for missed notifications, missed calls, or any consequences resulting from App behavior or system restrictions.

• You use the App at your own risk.

7. Account Deletion

• Users may request account deletion by contacting support.

• Upon deletion, associated account data will be removed where legally and technically possible.

• Some data may be retained if required for legal or operational purposes.

8. Modifications to Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time.

• Updated Terms will be published within the App.

• Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
