AuricLink Terms Of Use
Effective Date: September 12, 2026
By using AuricLink ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to the following Terms of Use.
1. Use of the App
• AuricLink analyzes links you submit and displays safety information, risk indicators, and warnings based on publicly available data and automated checks.
• You are responsible for using the App in a lawful and responsible manner.
• You must not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the App.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use AuricLink on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. No Account Required
• The App does not require an account, sign-in, or registration.
• No personal information is collected, and no authentication is performed.
• All data processed by the App is stored locally on your device.
4. Purchase and Payments
• AuricLink is a paid application available through Google Play.
• Payment is a one-time purchase made through Google Play at the time of download.
• Payments and refunds are managed entirely by Google Play according to their policies.
• Refunds for the purchase of AuricLink are governed by Google Play's refund policy. If you are unsatisfied with the App, you may request a refund through Google Play within the timeframe permitted by their policies. We do not process refunds directly.
• All features of the App are available to users who have purchased the App.
• We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information.
5. Local Data
• Scan history, preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
• We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, app deletion, or reinstalling the App.
• We do not operate servers that store your personal information or scan history.
6. Accuracy of Results and Disclaimer of Warranties
• AuricLink provides informational analysis only. We do not guarantee that any link is safe, unsafe, or malicious.
• Results represent our best assessment at the time of scanning and may not reflect the current or complete state of a website.
• Threats on the internet change constantly. Our checks cannot detect every possible threat.
• A result such as "No Threat Detected" does not mean a link is guaranteed safe. It means our automated checks did not identify any known indicators of risk.
• You should always exercise your own judgment before clicking, downloading, or interacting with any link.
• The App is not a substitute for professional cybersecurity advice, antivirus software, or your own caution.
• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
7. Limitation of Liability
• AuricLink depends on network connectivity, third-party services, and publicly available data sources.
• We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from decisions made based on the App's results.
• You use the App at your own risk.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
• Scan history and preferences remain on your device until you delete them within the App or uninstall the App.
• Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data.
• Because we do not store your data on our servers, there is no remote data to request deletion of.
• We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes, but we are not obligated to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.
9. Modifications to Terms
• We may update these Terms at any time.
• Updated Terms will be published within the App.
• Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
